The Great Ivy + Bean Tour, Week Eleven: Arizona, Colorado, New Beginnings and a Fond Farewell.
Well, here we are guys. It's the end. Are you ready to say goodbye? No? Well, too bad. They aren't gonna pay us anymore after this week so we gotta stop. This week has been full of feelings— fear, joy, excitement, love. We may have started off on a rough foot, but we are definitely going to end on a high note. Let’s get all the rough stuff out of the way, shall we? We were all very worn out by the time we got to Tempe, Arizona. Melissa woke up feeling worse than she had the d

The Great Ivy + Bean Tour, Week Ten: Viva Las Vegas, Baby.
The most anticipated week of the tour has arrived, y'all. Get out your feathers, poker chips and Elvis impersonators. The Ivy + Bean crew has finally arrived in Las Vegas. It should be said that we've been talking about this particular week of the tour since we started. Screw the show, what were we going to do? What were we going to wear? WHO'S GONNA SEE BRITNEY SPEARS WITH ME?!? We arrived at our hotel in the mid afternoon on Saturday after a three and half-hour drive from P

The Great Ivy and Bean Tour, Week Nine: Colorado and California.
The final leg of the tour has begun. Are you ready? It was another super frickin early Saturday morning for the cast of Ivy + Bean. We were all there bright and early except for Jake, who accidentally read our itinerary wrong, thought our arrival in Denver was the time of our flight, and frantically cabbed it over to the airport

The Great Ivy + Bean Tour, Week Eight: Connecticut and... well, just Connecticut.
Week eight was probably the slowest and weirdest week of tour to date, because all of the tour work happened within forty-eight hours. Neverless, it was part of tour, so it must be blogged! It was great not having to worry about a suitcase since we were only going to be gone one night, but we still had to be up super early, and I hate waking up early. I'd like to think that I would be used to it by now, having performed two-show days all before 11am, but I still really really

The Great Ivy + Bean Tour, Week Seven: Kentucky, Alabama, and Kentucky, again.
This week was one for the (world) record books, folks. Fasten your seatbelt. After a stellar couple of days celebrating birthdays and being just plain lazy, which was incredible, we eased our way back into the swing of things with a Sunday evening load-in at the Easter Kentucky University Center for the Arts. Much like the venue in Green Bay, everything was big and located on multiple floors. I always feel fancy when I have to use an elevator to get to the stage. Maybe that’s
